The following 3 images (click to enlarge) are of the W/T Office HMS Dolphin circa WW1 (courtesy of the NMRN Archives). The photos show a Type 14 Poulsen Arc Set and a Model K series receiver. The model K is a Model C with a heterodyne attachment. The W/T office at the time was situated above the main gate to Fort Blockhouse. Note also the silent cabinet. The young man in the photo is Telegraphist Law.
The following set of photographs depicting various Comms ratings who served in the Commcen between circa 1980 to 1997. They were donated to the museum by Bernie Hopkins with a letter from the then NTCSO Warrant Officer Karl Goatley.
